NEWSMedia Collaboration is the key in driving Scotdesco community members to success
It has been exciting times in Scotdesco, with the On the Right Trackteam recently visiting the small community to deliver their Aboriginal road safety and driver licencing program.
As part of theFoundation Skills for Your Future Remote Community Pilot, EyrePlus partnered with On the Right Track to address barriers to employment, including personal transportation.
Through building strong stakeholder partnerships, EyrePlus secured a Learner Permit Licence visit for community members who worked to upskill their language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills in preparation for the important visit.
The collaboration saw all six participants from both the Foundation Skills for Your Future Remote Community Pilot and Community Development Program (CDP) successfully gain their Learner Permits.
The EyrePlus team will also help participants achieve their learner logbook hours through the Driver Mentor Program, delivered in conjunction with the Australian Red Cross and Ceduna Aboriginal Corporation.
