EyrePlus is bringing local experience and knowledge to deliver the Community Development Program (CDP) proudly supported by the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA)

CDP is an Employment program for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians in regional, rural and remote Australia to achieve sustainable employment outcomes by strengthening skills, addressing barriers and contributing to their communities through a range of flexible work-like activities.

We help support participants across Ceduna and the wider Eyre Peninsula to build skills, address their employment barriers and contribute to their communities through a range of flexible and meaningful activities. This also provides participants with increased access to local job opportunities.

At EyrePlus, we consider the needs of each individual participant. We tailor a program based on their unique circumstances and provide additional support to help retain work.

Our job-readiness assessment also acknowledges non-vocational barriers being faced by those living in rural communities, including literacy and numeracy concerns, housing needs and drug and alcohol issues.

While we assist participants with their work-readiness, we’re also contributing to the community by providing local solutions to their unique social and civic needs. Our priority is to support local people into real and sustainable jobs, and we do this through activities and experiences that ensure participants gain work-readiness skills.

We’re taking an individual approach while also offering social and economic benefits to the community. We work to foster Indigenous Businesses, assist them with natural and cultural assets, and effectively managing Indigenous-owned land and seas.

We deliver services in the following communities across the Eyre Peninsula

  • Ceduna
  • Yalata
  • Streaky Bay
  • Koonibba
  • Oak Valley
  • Scotdesco
