Our Business Incubator supports the creation and development of Indigenous small businesses in remote communities.
The Incubator encourages and helps participants launch and develop their business ideas while building financial literacy and vital business skills.
Our experienced Business Development Manager will help guide participants to understand how each business model component works to ensure a successful business and customer service experience.
Our service is free of charge and is funded by the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA).
How we’ll help you succeed
- Provide business coaching, mentoring and relevant business training
- Establish back-end administrative services such as bookkeeping, regulatory requirements and licensing.
- Support your business during product development such as branding, product design and testing, intellectual property, and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Research access to funding and financial support to further develop your business.
You may be eligible for the Business Incubator Pilot if you are:
- Of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and are seeking business support or advice to develop a business idea
- An existing business that is at least 50% owned by Indigenous Australians.
