Getting to know our team with Charles

Meet Charles our Senior Compliance Officer and a man from the Mutti Mutti (NSW) & Yorta Yorta (VIC) Nations. 

Charles grew up in a small country farming community in Dareton in the far west of NSW and recently relocated to the Eyre Peninsula with his family.

Charles first teamed up with EyrePlus when he commenced as a volunteer participant of the Community Development Program (CDP).

Having just finished his short-term seasonal harvesting work, his immediate goal through the help of EyrePlus was to find a sustainable local job. His immediate commitment to his job search efforts as well as his attention to detail was immediately noticed by our team along with his persistence.

When a position for an Employment Consultant opened up at EyrePlus at the beginning of 2020, he grabbed the opportunity with both hands and joined our growing team working his way up to become an integral part of our Compliance and Quality team.

Charles has always been a huge soccer fan, but since the move here to Ceduna he has taken up the passion that local footy has to offer.  

“I am enjoying the new job and everyone I work with are so different but as a team, we all complement each other and have plenty of fun in the office. My children motivate me to want better, do better and be better in all facets of life,” says Charles.
