Oysterfest is Celebrated every South Australia Labour Day Long Weekend and was recently held from Friday 4th – Sunday 6th October.

Offering a broad range of art, music, culture, entertainment, fine seafood and wine, Oysterfest, ‘Oyster Capital of Australia’ is Eyre Peninsula’s premier annual event culminating after a weekend of feasting, family, fun and sun with a spectacular fireworks display.

“This is an example of how CDP projects can be turned into small business opportunities,” says EyrePlus Business Incubator Manager – Michele Jacobsen.

Michele will continue to develop this initiative into a small business with local Indigenous participants looking to become furniture makers through our services for the Community Development Program.
