EyrePlus staff members were pleased to attend the first Community Development Program Leadership Forum in Sydney this month.
Under the theme of collaboration and innovation, the forum presented a delegation of thought leaders and experts within the Indigenous, Training and Employment Services spaces to discuss mutually beneficial opportunities to work in partnership with each other.
The forum was hosted by Con Kittos, CEO of PeoplePlus Australia, and also featured an insight into the CDP and Indigenous Affairs portfolio with special guest The Honourable Ken Wyatt AM, MP, Minister for Indigenous Australians.
The aim of the day was for organisations to band together to improve the landscape of Australian employment and Indigenous engagement by providing a superior service to participants and businesses alike.
EyrePlus’ CDP Compliance Manager, Susan Rainbow led the group in a workshop and discussion on community engagement and key performance indicators, while General Manager Simon Rodgers shared insights on the past, present and future of the Community Development Program in Ceduna.
The EyrePlus team is looking forward to applying our newly acquired knowledge into our delivery of the CDP to directly benefit those in Ceduna and other communities.
