EyrePlus brings deep local experience and community knowledge to deliver the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) across the Far West Region of South Australia.

RAES is Australia’s dedicated employment support for remote communities, replacing the Community Development Program (CDP). It helps people build work-ready skills, connect with real job opportunities, and contribute to community through locally relevant projects when jobs aren’t immediately available. EyrePlus delivers RAES in partnership with the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA).

How we work

Our team works with participants, employers, and community organisations to create clear pathways into work, and to support people to thrive in their roles.

We’ll support you to:

  • Prepare for work with practical, hands-on support and mentoring
  • Tackle barriers to employment through personalised guidance and local solutions
  • Build connections with employers, training providers, and real-world work activities
  • Support community priorities through co-designed projects that improve local places and create pathways into paid work
  • Deliver culturally safe, high-quality services with strong provider capability

A flexible, locally led approach

RAES is designed to be flexible and locally led, giving communities greater control than previous programs like CDP.

It’s designed to:

  • Empower communities to co-design activities that reflect local priorities and aspirations
  • Strengthen engagement between providers and communities
  • Link participants with suitable job opportunities, including those created through the Remote Jobs and Economic Development (RJED) program

Who RAES is for

People in remote regions who are looking for tailored help to prepare for, find, and keep a job. Support is available for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants.
