Meet the team: Anna-Hilda Tsagari

Tell us a bit about yourself

I would describe myself as an enthusiastic and spontaneous person who has the desire and passion to help others. I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn’t afraid to face a challenge. I am passionate about my work and always strive to learn how to best assist others. I delight in sharing my love of cooking and baking within the Ceduna community through volunteering in various yearly community events. I also love helping our Greek Orthodox Church in Thevenard to continue to exist, focusing on fostering a strong community, encouraging participation, and ensuring financial stability through regular contributions and fundraising. Love spending time with family, and friends and exploring new places worldwide. Fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) in three languages: Dutch, Greek (native), and English. 

What led you into this line of work?

My motivation is to positively impact people’s lives by assisting them in securing employment and improving their overall well-being. I believe in the power of work to foster independence, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose, and I am passionate about helping individuals achieve these goals. 

Tell us about your role and what a typical day at EyrePlus looks like for you?

My role as Employment Consultant/Case Manager is to build a stronger community by contributing to a well-functioning workforce and reducing unemployment and social exclusion.

How would your team describe you?

Bright and bubbly. 

Do you have previous experience in this industry / related experience? 

No previous experience in this industry. I have worked for a long time in hospitality and brand promotion marketing places in the Netherlands where I originally come from. 

What is your favourite thing about working for EyrePlus?

Supporting individuals in overcoming challenges, building skills, and finding sustainable employment that aligns with their aspirations. 

What have you learned in your time with EyrePlus?

Valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and building relationships.

Any advice for someone looking to get into similar work?
