In the fight to combat and halt the spread of COVID-19, EyrePlus recently heeded the call to produce much-needed sanitiser for use across our community.
With the impact of COVID-19 and together with the current social distancing restrictions in place, the town of Yalata, in particular, has been unable to source adequate supply of sanitiser keep up with the hygiene directives.
As part of our services of the Community Development Program (CDP), we began researching and then sourcing potential recipes to begin production. Our team then began to produce a suitable option derived from Tea Tree Oil, with which of the sanitiser sprays all fitted with pumps and bottles.
We have recently begun the process to transport and distribute to the Yalata community, where we deliver a range of services for CDP through activities and experiences that ensure participants gain work-readiness skills.
