Today marks the start of NAIDOC Week, with celebrations held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

At EyrePlus, our team will be providing a BBQ on Thursday 11 July for interested participants looking to learn more and sign up for the Community Development Program (CDP).

Through this program, we help support participants across Ceduna and the wider Eyre Peninsula to build skills, address their employment barriers and contribute to their communities through a range of flexible and meaningful activities. This also provides participants with increased access to local job opportunities.

We look forward to meeting you on the day.
